In 2025, the “Fauna” series pays tribute to the roe deer, an emblematic species of our European forests, with a silver coin featuring Nordic gold, presented in a richly illustrated educational booklet. This small deer, easily recognizable by its long neck and its coat that changes with the seasons, lives both in forests and in open plains and fields. Despite the pressure of several predators, it remains widespread across Europe. To preserve the balance of its habitat, careful and responsible management is essential.
