50 litas – Panemune Castle

The obverse of the coin bears the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Lithuania inside a shield against the background of a fragment of the castle tower, with the inscriptions LIETUVA (Lithuania), 50 LITŲ (50 litas) and 2007 around it. The reverse of the coin features a stylised picture of the Panemunė Castle, semi-circled with the inscription PAMENUNĖS PILIS (Panemunė Castle).
