50 litas – New Millennium

The obverse of the coin features the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Lithuania inside a shield. A stylised rainbow and stars are arranged in a semi-circle to both sides. The inscription LIETUVA (Lithuania) arranged in a semi-circle runs at the top and 50 LITŲ (50 litas) at the bottom. The reverse of the coin displays a stylised fragment of sun rays, an arc and a cross, forming a composition. The year 2000 is displayed at the bottom.
