50 litas – Kaunas castle

The stylised state Coat of Arms of the beginning of the 15th century Vytis is depicted on the obverse of the coin. The inscriptions LIETUVA (Lithuania), 2008 and 50 LITŲ (50 litas) are depicted around it. The Kaunas Castle is shown on the reverse of the coin. The inscription KAUNO PILIS (Kaunas Castle) is arranged in a semi-circle.
