The coin depicts a relief image of the panoramic view of Gorokhovets. There are: the emblem of the town-on the right, the inscriptions along the circumference: ‘ДРЕВНИЕ ГОРОДА РОССИИ’ (ANCIENT TOWNS OF RUSSIA) at the top, ‘ГОРОХОВЕЦ’ (GOROKHOVETS) at the bottom.
