10 pesos – The Olympic Games – Javelin throwing

Cuba dedicates its coin to the javelin throw, a sport of significant tradition in which the country has women competitors of great prowess. The reverse of the coin portrays a woman in the act of throwing the javelin. The obverse features the Cuban coat-of-arms as its central motif surrounded by the coats-of-arms of the other participating countries.
