10 euro – Europa Program- Felipe II

The obverse of the silver coin portrays the effigy of H.M. King Juan Carlos I. The reverse replicates a bust of King Philip II taken from a portrait painted by Titian. Depicted to the left is the coat-of-arms that presides over the entrance to the Kings' Courtyard in the Royal Monastery of San Lorenzo del Escorial.
