10 euro – Guard of the Grand and General Council
Series: San Marino – Silver 10 euro coins
The obverse features the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of San Marino; around the edge, the inscription ‘REPUBBLICA DI SAN MARINO’; at the base, the name of the designer, A. NAPOLIONE. On the reverse, the coin depicts, in the centre, a Guard of the Great and General Council in full dress uniform, with the following colour scheme applied to the uniform (dark blue for the jacket and trousers, orange for the collar, cuffs, the outline and tail of the jacket, and the side stripes of the trousers, light blue for some of the feathers on the headgear, black for the visor of the headgear, and a white band across the chest). In the background on the left is a column of the Palazzo Pubblico, seat of the Great and General Council. Completing the coin on the left are the letter R, identifying the Mint of Rome, and the name of the designer, A. NAPOLIONE; on the right, around the edge, is the inscription GUARDIA DEL CONSIGLIO, the denomination 10 EURO, and at the bottom the year of issue 2026 and the initials of Antonio Vecchio, who was responsible for the engraving, AV.INC.;
