The reverse side of the coin depicts relief images of Great Patriotic War soldiers making an attack against the background of the laser matted silhouettes of tanks and airplanes. There is an inscription „НА СТРАЖЕ ОТЕЧЕСТВА” („GUARDING THE HOMELAND”) along the circumference at the bottom.
The obverse side of the coin bears a relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation.
