10 euro - 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the USA - Bald Eagle

To mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America, a series of collector coins is being issued. Under this theme, and reflected in the coin designs, the Spanish contribution to the success of the war in favour of the Thirteen American Colonies is highlighted. The obverse of this coin features a colour image of a bald eagle within a decorative base adorned with the flags of the United States of America and Spain. The reverse features the facing busts of King Charles III of Spain and George Washington.
